They do, Sweetromance, but at least some people in the system are standing up and calling their bluff. In all honesty, it kinda renewed my faith in government and its institutions (at least a little).

Luckily the TTC decided not to go ahead with the ads, Stanya, but money was definitely the reason behind why they were even considering it in the first place.

I remember when I saw this commercial a few years ago. With the very toothy blonde, and two folks rolling around on a bed, practicing their time management skills so no one would find out. That's right. AM (I will use your short form as I feel the same as you do!) will support your horrible horiibleness.

Gah! I am glad the TTC is finally doing something right.

You know I've seen the tram with this add on TV short time ago and I couldn't believe that something like that is possible, and that the chairmen of TTC have such autority to allow somebody to use public transportation for such garbage. They are the first to be blamed - how dare they. For this they are raising the fares? There should be investigation how much bribe is there from AM or whoever has this great idea to produce this shit.
It wouldn't be bad if somebody would apply fot this service and than his or her spouse would sue all those "nice guys "for few milions. It would be fun. But it could culminate to even higher TTC fares - woop - realy necessary :weep: to cover those poor TTC guys their potencial expences.

You're absolutely right, Lydian. I was really reticent to use their name too -- as you said, it's extra publicity -- but at least I didn't give them a link. Still feel kinda dirty though.

I agree entirely. But what is so infuriating is that AM (spit!) are SO pleased that they got on all the front pages of the papers, all this free publicity! The press should have just reported about this on the last page in tiny type.
