Jerry Agar speaks!

Posted on September 9th, 2011 10 great comments. Room for one more!

Here’s a brief collection of some of Newstalk 1010’s resident loudmouth Jerry Agar’ quotes. I’m starting to see why he lost his job as a radio host in the states in 2009.

Jerry on who should make up Congress (he’s not being ironic here):

Just imagine a day in Washington D.C. when the new Congress shows up and it’s all new people. They don’t have any deals in place…they arrive in Washington not knowing what they’re doing. How good is that?!

Jerry on who he thinks is cool (no irony here either):

I am in black, but I don’t think either of us is going to look as cool as Dog the Bounty Hunter

Jerry on illegal immigration (a group that Jerry clearly identifies with):

When it comes to illegal immigrants, probably those of us who are or have been illegal immigrants are the toughest on illegals.

Jerry on how he sees illegal immigrants:

An illegal immigrant is to immigration what a shop lifter is to shopping: they don’t go together.

Finally, on an unrelated topic (just because you say you want all Jews eliminated doesn’t mean you’re anything like Hitler):

There’s a little game that’s played on the internet, I guess, and it is ‘here’s a quote against the industrialization of society’, etc. and who said this…and they give the quote, and was it said by Ted Kaczynski the Unabomber or Al Gore. Well often it’s Al Gore and it sounds like something Ted Kaczynski would say. That because Ted Kaczynski and Al Gore might talk about the same kinds of things, it is not fair to say that Al Gore is anything like Ted Kaczynski.

From September 9 until October 3 (today) and
there is not one comment about Jerry Agar.
It shows you how little impact he’s had on
Toronto media and the decline of CFRB’s
    influence on the airwaves.

Watching his Tea Bager video and listening to him on radio makes me wish 1010 would dump him. He’s too far right. To me he’s a (far right) Americanized Canadian. He hates our country’s pillars such as universal health care and no guns allowed. I don’t know why he even came back to Canada and brought his American family to endure such a terrible country.

I think he came here, Levon, because he couldn’t hack it in the States.

Honestly, Levon, I think Newstalk is one of the few stations that would give him a job. It’s most likely as simple as that :)

How dare you write a story about my sister wearing a burkha at the Ontario Science Center. Comparing with Star wars, you think you’re a big reporter and can write anything you want? Lets see what happens when it spreads out http://www.torontosun.com/2012/08/20/public-face-of-modesty

Jerry Agar is just another right wing zealot creep we have become used to on the talk radio circuit.
Now with this Sun media t.v. station they are all in one place spewing their usual far right rhetoric 24/7.

Although Agar seems to be an angry hack !
I tend to ignore them now.

I think Jerry’s blow hole got him in some trouble in the States.

Or maybe he came back for the free healthcare.
