As the name implies, dondio45, it's a deck that's shaped like a wave. Toronto has two at the moment, one at the foot of Bathurst and Queen's Quay, the other at Lower Simcoe and Queen's Quay. They're a big hit with skateboarders, despite the low railings installed to keep them off.
I as well, Teena. But they don't strike me as being particularly practical. Old people avoid them, youngsters mostly just slide down them on their butts, and teens don't get much use out of them on account of the low railings (and the "keep off" signs). They seem to be mostly for decoration, which is a bit of a waste if you ask me.
