I’m not going to go back through the blog to re-hash some of Giorgio Mammoliti’s past, erm, weirdness, but maybe there was something buggy going on with his brain? It was revealed today that he had to have preventive brain surgery to “disconnect” a potentially clotting mesh of blood vessels in his head, so that could certainly be a possibility. Here’s hoping he recovers!

It might well explain Mr.Mamolitti’s impulsive decisions too -such as his resignation from the Executive Committee. Time will tell and, like yourself Patrick, I’ll cut Mr. Mamolitti some slack -for the time being at least. I thank goodness that in my own case, the only intellectual impairment caused by my on-going chemotherapy is something almost funny called ‘chemo brain’ -manifested mostly by wondering where you left your glasses when in fact you’re wearing your glasses. Very small potatoes indeed compared to Mr. Mamollitti’s challenges with regard to his full recovery I’m sure.
